We selected the countertop for the Kitchen and Sandria’s bathroom today.
The drywall company resumed work today. Everything is looking good! (see photos).

Tropical Storm Fay
We made it though this super bad storm. We went out this morning and lots of water everywhere. It was hard to drive in some areas.
We took a ride over to the house to see how things were. The yard was almost completely covered in water due to the over flow of the lake. We’re going to add fill to the yard to try to minimize this type of flooding in the future.

Insulation is complete. We had all of the interior walls insulated for sound. I also included photos of my network room/closet.

The interior of the house is still being worked on. The electrician should be finish by Tuesday. Low voltage should be done by Friday.
What’s been done since the last update?
- The septic system installed
- Well installed
- Stucco trim and lath work were completed
- Windows and door removed and reinstalled
- Plumber finished
- Roof tiles loaded
- Pool tiles and coping installed
- Land cleared in the back
- Cut down and reshaped the privacy wall
- Electrician is almost done

Given that I had to drive the 105 miles to handle the well and septic permits, I decided to stop by the house to check on things. Here are photos from today.
Pool Started
We started working on the house again in April. The framing and HVAC rough have been completed. Today the pool began. Here are two photos I took.
Milligan Residence - Week 21
Lots of work has been done. They finally put the felt on the roof. Most of the framing on the inside has been completed. The electrician started working this week. The house is looking great on the inside. Here are some photos.
